Phil's BIO
Phil DeCarlo is a professional singer/songwriter and solo entertainer. He comes from a musical family. His great grandmother was a singer in Vaudeville, grandmother was a nightclub singer in the big band era and his younger brother Tommy is currently the lead singer for the 70’s power rock band Boston (More Than A Feeling). Phil’s live performances include a blended mix of live vocals, acoustic guitar, and occasional backing tracks of bass and drums. Combined with the use of a digital vocal harmonizer, Phil’s live sound has been quoted by some as sounding like a full three-piece band. His song list includes a vast selection of classic and modern hits as well as original compositions.
A native of New York, Phil has been playing for over 30 years. Early in his career, he toured the club and college circuits in upstate NY in a rock band, opening for large bands and well-known celebrities. Phil was also honored by being asked to open as a solo performer for The Byrds (Tambourine Man), The Searchers (Love Potion #9). Phil is also a woodworking artist.
